zombiestorm asked: How do you string origami stars and hang them? :D What do you use the paintbrush for? How big are the stars? And the strips?, Sorry for so many questions!

Hi! To string origami stars, I used plain white thread and pierced them stars in the middle with a needle (this was a pain because I used relatively thick paper). I then pasted them to the ceiling with tape. I used the paintbrush to paint strips of colour onto a blank piece of paper (using watercolours), since I don’t already have origami paper. Originally, the paper was from an A4 sketchpad, and after painting I cut it into approx 10 randomly sized strips (not too big or too small, and a little over 1 inch each). The stars end up varying in size, between 1-1.5 inches. Hope I helped! :-)

A friend’s surprise birthday party last night
HAPPY 19TH BIRTHDAY, NINDY! I hope this year will bring you happiness. Make sure you use that camera!
We decorated the little space that is my room by carpeting the floor with a layer of smiley-faced and LED balloons. I think all that balloon-blowing is what made some of us a little tipsy, for lack of a better word, so you can call that the pre-party for the sober folk. Playing Saboteur after that (I can’t believe I found that picture) probably didn’t help, but in this case getting drunk on fun and games can’t be a bad thing. As long as you have great friends and places to go a good deck of cards, you will laugh until you start losing weight.
Surprising the unsuspecting birthday girl was fun, eating the incredibly rich chocolate cake was fun, and playing crazy rounds of Snap until midnight was fun. Trying to fall asleep after the hype, on the other hand, wasn’t…
